Our Origin Story

Our journey began at a global IT consulting firm, where we had the opportunity to collaborate with the Scott-Morgan Foundation. We worked on a project to help Peter Scott-Morgan, who had ALS, continue creating art despite losing physical abilities. This experience ignited our passion for human-centered AI and inspired us to strike out on our own.

Initially, we believed the best way to achieve our vision was through a service-based consulting company. We thought helping other companies build human-centered AI was the way forward. But as we navigated the challenges, we realized that our true path lay in becoming a product company. This pivot allowed us to focus on creating solutions that directly impacted people's lives.

In a studio, things will inevitably go wrong. And when they do, it’s essential to pivot. Unlike a factory, where pivoting means retooling to produce a new product, a studio requires adjusting the course while keeping the vision intact. Our goal has always been to turn our vision into a sustainable reality and create positive change along the way.

For-profit AI initiatives have the potential to do immense good in the world. The studio model offers a game-changing alternative for launching these initiatives. From AI that addresses food waste to AI that supports aging at home, small, focused partnerships can launch profitable services with a significant impact. But it takes resilience.

We began by building our intellectual property and forming partnerships with industry leaders. We launched pilot projects and refined our technology through early commercialization. As we entered the growth stage, we built strategic alliances to scale our products and open new markets.

Now, we are poised for full commercialization. Our vision of an AI that actively supports human goals is becoming a reality, with PhysarAI making a positive impact across various industries.
